Accommodations
The Phoenix 35’s interior is both luxurious and functional. The solid teak woodwork is stylish yet durable. Appointments, materials, and workmanship are comparable to any custom yacht.
The roomy salon provides the perfect environment for relaxing or entertaining in elegant comfort. The 35s standard cabin layout features a large convertible dinette and an L-shaped lounge, providing comfortable seating for larger parties. By night, the lounge converts to an upper and lower berth and the dinette transforms into a double bed, providing total sleeping accommodations for six.
The most discerning owner will appreciate the full size galley featuring corian countertops, a stainless sink, refrigerator/freezer, stove, convection oven, and large cabinets with plenty of storage.
The private head compartment is very large and well thought out, including features like a vanity with corian countertops, a stall shower with seat, a household size head, and storage lockers. For complete privacy, the head can be entered from either the main companionway or from the master stateroom.
Understated luxury continues in the spacious master stateroom, featuring a large double island berth with storage below and twin cedar-lined hanging lockers.
Performance
The Phoenix 35 was designed and engineered from the keel up to provide superior performance with maximum reliability. The modified deep vee hull incorporates unique design features which include a sharp bow entry combined with an exaggerated hull flare that produces a soft and exceptionally dry ride, a wide beam with reverse chines prevents roll and increases stability in a beam sea, and the propeller pocket design improves the hull’s efficiency, reduces draft, and increases fuel economy and range.
Fishability
The oversize tournament style flybridge reflects functional design and attention to detail with comfortable seating for six. The helm position provides excellent 360° visibility with an unobstructed view of the cockpit. The console was ergonomically designed for central control and to accommodate its current Raymarine Multi Function Display. Additional features include VDO instrumentation, hydraulic steering and lockable storage cabinets
The Phoenix 35’s cockpit, at over 114 sq. it is one of the largest and most versatile of any boat its size, The engine boxes located under the flybridge overhang serve as comfortable seating protected from sun or rain. If necessary, these boxes can be easily opened for engine access. A long list of standard fishing features includes rod holders, tuna door, tackle drawers, cockpit coaming, fresh and saltwater wash downs, recirculating livewell, insulated fish box and rod storage.
Engine Room
The engine room in the Phoenix 35 is an owners dream come true. The bilge is smooth and coated with awlgrip paint for easy clean up, and every component is organized so that it can be easily reached for maintenance. The engine room can be quickly accessed through the cockpit engine boxes or through a large hatch in the salon floor. The engine room also contains a clever 40 cu. ft storage area, ideal for storing spare parts, tools, tackle, etc. The unique engine ventilation system receives its intake air supply through a revolutionary air induction system located above the deck, making it virtually impossible for water to enter the engine room.
